The staff were all lovely and helpful. the breakfast was also great. It had a really varied and generous selection.

the rooms facing the front of the building had very poor sound isolation on the windows. the street outside was very noisy with heavy traffic, so it was hard to sleep.

The staff was always available and provided helpful information about local attractions. The included breakfast offered a nice variety of pastries, fruits, and hot dishes each morning. The location was very convenient as it was within walking distance of many key sights. I appreciated the daily offering of coffee, tea and cake in the afternoon, a really nice touch.

i found very slight street noise late at night.

The room featured traditional tile details, a very comfortable bed, and good air conditioning. A spacious bathroom included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. The historic charm was well-preserved throughout the premises.

The building has period drawing room on the second floor available . There is free luggage storage available after check-out, it was a great convenience. I didn't use other facilities.

Staff provided quick check-in. The staff responded quickly to requests. They also offered helpful advice for local restaurants and transport. Staff provided free storage for luggage until i collected it later.

The breakfast included multiple vegetarian options. Tasty cake was available in the dining room each afternoon. Coffee, tea, and water were available throughout the day. Everything was fresh and well-presented. the breakfast choice was very tasty.

The location made it easy to reach every area in the city using either walking or public transport. The staff was nice and helpful. They met requests, like getting a new pillow, and storing our bags on departure day. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection daily (SO MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM!). The Nespresso machine was a fantastic bonus.

There was not a single hook on the wall in the room.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. the location IS great. It's so easy to get around the city. i especially liked the decoration with a portuguese touch.

The breakfast choice WAS very poor. i also found my room wasn't soundproof at all. I could hear the street noise ALL day and night.

The hotel location was convenient for accessing the castle.

The AC in my room did NOT work, even after asking staff twice and following their instructions. It was quite annoying. It seems the staff just wanted to tell me something to dismiss me.

mixed feelings ABOUT the STAY

the breakfast WAS good. i liked that there was a reasonable choice available.

the a/c did not work in the room. i asked staff for help but they just told ME to change the mode. it still did not work, i did not want to ask again. also, one morning, a loud noise woke us up around 7:30 and it went on for around 10 minutes.
